DESIGNER
Safia Dziri joined the design team at Aamodt / Plumb to learn about and practice an architecture that cares by helping create and build SLOW homes. She seeks to imbue her work with empathy and wholistic thinking. After an engineering degree in France, studying structures and architecture, she came to the US to further her knowledge of both topics. She trained as a structural engineer for a year in New York and then joined the University of California Berkeley, where she earned both a Master of Architecture and Master of Science in Structure and Materials Engineering. She uses this combination of design skills and technical knowledge about buildings and materials, to help the firm’s mission to craft houses that are good, clean, and fair.
