Grace Mathieson
Architecture Designer
Grace Mathieson is a designer who prioritizes building smarter through empathic design and clean materials, with less interest in fast-fashion design principles. Through this, she believes in the potential to shift the building industry towards sustainable practices.
Grace grew up in Northern California and earned her Master of Architecture degree from the University of Texas at Austin and has worked in Austin, TX, New York, NY, and San Francisco, CA. As a designer at Aamodt Plumb here in Cambridge, Grace enjoys working with clients to serve as a navigator and translator through the process of building a home. Grace works through all aspects and phases of project design and construction to achieve this.
Grace puts a strong emphasis into incorporating sustainable practices into her own life. She spends much of her free time exploring the outdoors through hiking, camping, backpacking, road-tripping. An ardent watercolor painter, she forages for natural pigments to integrate into artwork.
